O’Keefe: HOME SWEET HOME

Hey guys, so, how's it going?

Another year is cruising right along. We've been busy re-recording our original release of our CD, Better Late Than Never,  with some changes to the song mix...some new selections of traditional songs, and some new songs written by yours truly...We're hoping to have the CD available by mid-February at the latest...maybe even a bit earlier.

One of the exciting things that happened as we worked on the CD was that we were joined by a talented young bass player, Bart Holcomb, who has added that extra layer of sound that gives the songs so much more depth. Bart has played with a number of bands in the past and has decided to give us a try for a while, celtic music being a new sound for him...expect to see him out with us in the very near future. We're glad to have you with us, Bart!

The tracks are all laid down, now Nate is engineering the whole lot, mixing, balancing, etc...all that magic he does to make my caterwalling come out sounding like the lilt of the angles...well, at least not like a gaggle of wailing banshees :~)
